It’s pretty silly. The Blitzkreig itself wasn’t targeted against Jews, and it’s in perfectly common usage. Hell, people even say ‘blitzed’ to mean drunk.

It’s in the same vein when folks say “Nazi soldiers” to describe the Wehrmacht soldiers or “Communists” to describe the Soviet troops.
