I really hope should they get the Senate victory have a bridge too far moment. Whether that’s a botched impeachment, more ACA repeals, or whatever. I really think forcing them to actually govern both houses of Congress will prove to be their undoing. These new senators are going to be ideologues. They’re going to replace centrist Dems who weren’t partisans.

They’re going to take it as a wingnut mandate, when in reality, I don’t even know if we can draw any conclusions from this election. And when their stupid wingnut policies fail to pass the President’s desk, they’re going to get mad and throw tantrums and complain about “obstructionist Obama”. Further exposing their childishness and lack of suitability to run a modern first-world nation.
