That’s part of my generation. Oh, you have a cold? Here, take some antibiotics and call me in 14 days. Nothing like building up resistance to antibiotics, and for me, candidiasis (a build up of yeast which really messes with the insides).

I’m not sure which generation you’re a part of, but at the tender age of 61 that was never a part of my culture. I have known people of all ages who think antibiotics will cure a cold.
(Note: not meant to sound snarky-I’m just not sure that it is entirely a generational thing.)
