I have noted to some Bernie-supporting friends that with a revolution, you don’t usually get the one you wanted or thought you would. It opens Pandora’s Box of political hell.

Americans’ ideas about how revolutions work have been tainted by the fact that, all things considered, we got reeeeeally fucking lucky with the one we had. We’re under the impression that’s how they usually turn out, to our detriment.
