I understand. That was my original idea but at the time money was tight so I got 2 smaller tubes for under cabinets. And now I got the 36” for the so-called breakfast bar. It is a counter between the tiny kitchen and the dining room.

Tech has developed to the point that LED is dropping in price, and when the flourescent blows, you will have a good chance to replace just the tubes with LED equivalents.
