It really is amazing how shameless Republicans are — they block something and then immediately turn around and blame Democrats for the issue they obstructed progress on.

Unfortunately this works well in the present-day US political hellscape.

the house can pass a thousand such bills, but they’ll never get through the senate. ergo, no progress. it’s the dems’ fault.
