I guess the show and ritual objections are necessary for domestic political purposes but I don’t think it’s going to add up to much.

I hope it does or you’ll see every country that could be threatened by Russia or China having to go nuclear. Ukraine’s in this mess because Russia abrogated the treaty that’s the only reason it didn’t have 2000 nukes sitting across its agricultural regions. And honestly, ‘tis a treaty that may compel us to defend West Ukraine.
