You have missed the traits of the logic then. Certain things are terrible indicators of policy or ability to lead. That’s the comparison. Flawed or mistaken logic that just goes by personal animus.

Care to take a shot at my question of how these filters help the nation? Show me the benefit, or might we agree there is little or no benefit to those criteria?

This is not about Jeb or Hilary. it’s about how we make our own worst candidates happen.

Your question could have been asked on its own, without mentioning race and religion. That was what I was objecting to.

In any case, it seems reasonable to believe that a Jeb Bush presidency would not be radically different than the other Bush presidencies, and likewise for a Hillary Clinton presidency as probably being similar to Bill Clinton’s presidency.

Basing one’s opinions on these likelihoods is hardly irrational.
