They are too delicate.

Not if it will handle a 500 lb. load in shipment in the first place. I drag pallets with that kind of load short distances, not often, but often enough to know. That’s not really a whole lot and it’s not like they have very far to go or a requirement for speed. If the steel load-straps can hold the load, they will certainly stay on with a tow strap tugging on them.
Oh. Maybe you mean the cops are too delicate?
