Thanks for posting this. I’m still digesting the Schumer-Manchin flippity-flip, but the inner cynic in me is still thinking since Coal Mine Joe is happy with it, it’s some major weak tea.

There’s a provision that clean energy can’t get benefits at the cost of fossil fuels, which is some major bullshit.

Either that, or we’re in a full metal Admiral Ackbar “It’s a trap!!!” situation.

Have to admit, seeing McConnell and the rest of the GQP having a “Hey! Only we’re allowed to do dirty tricks!” meltdown is fun..

Of course it’s weak, the amount being spent on climate change will barely make a dent. But we are getting into “Democrats did something, but it’s not enough so F the Democrats” territory if we overanalyze it without context.
