we need a ronald reagan. if the fringe doesn’t like it, let them go off and mope.
it’s our best chance. look how it turned out w/ conservativie -lite mccain.
it is very disheartening to see the gop give up our basic values in an attempt to
“reach” out to those who don’t really understand what it means to be a conservative.
we can’t lose focus and go all ‘wobbly’.
i was shocked during the campaign to see so many republican candidates not showing leadership. remember how they started using O’s mantra of “change”.
that was pathetic to see them all looking at him and thinking he knew something
they needed to get in on.
i cringed when rudy did that. “change” my ass.
see what change has got us now.
we need to proceed as if the dems don’t even exist.

We don’t need another Reagan. We need lots of people at the ground level working towards improving the situation locally. Hoping for a Messiah - a chosen one - to lead the GOP and/or conservatives out of the wilderness is going to be a fool’s errand. Lay the groundwork to successfully winning at the local level will build towards wins at the state and national level.
