Yes. Even in the early 60’s, there were accordions that were attached to tube driven tone generators, in practice, it was an electronic organ disguised as an accordion. I had one, called a Cordovox. You would be amazed at who they sounded.

And today, it is even more amazing, with digital accordions and midi connections and all the fancy stuff you can attach to this kind of accordion.

Yeah- that one even had a musician attached to it. That should be a requirement. :-)

I was surprised to hear the kinds of sounds he was producing. I haven’t heard much accordian since Lawrence Welk went off the air.
