You should try the old Sweet Pickles series. They cover the gamut of human behavior and characteristics. The animals names are Bashful Bear, Clever Camel, Outraged Octopus, Positive Pig, and all down the alphabet to Zany Zebra. I read the one about Moody Moose to a Kindergarten class today.
