We don’t know. Breivik was inspired directly from the “anti-jihad” movement. Putting the anti-jihad movement’s feet to the fire and shining light on them was a good idea once info of the connection was established. This wasn’t tribal, but good policy.

With Holmes, we don’t know yet, but there could be a connection with other nefarious toxic subcultures.
