I think the Romney bots would prefer the T-59s over other alternatives like the M-1 or even the Hellfire drone for their requirements. The latter two are made in the USA by union labor. Can’t have that when the T-59s can be cheaply outsourced. The T-59s are also big, scary-looking, unpopular with environmentalists, and otherwise wholly in tune with the suburban SUV ethos.
