It was the Gridiron thing, with the press…kind of like a roast. They all kind of lampoon one another. Obama is the first president to skip it since the 1800s, so Biden took his place.

Biden being a clown, well…it sounds like it worked out pretty well. In fact, running around deadpanning jokes sounds like the perfect gig for him.
