Weird?

You must not be very familiar with They Might Be Giants. They’ve been writing great little word play songs since the early 80s.

At one time they had a phone number you could call and hear the song of the day.

Here is what is probably their most recognizable “hit” song.

I’m familiar with “Istanbul.” That said, They Might Be Giants just doesn’t seem to grab my fancy (including “Istanbul”).

It wasn’t the wordplay of the song so much as the video itself I was referring to as “weird.”

Everyone has their taste in music though, and there’s enough room for everyone. Mr. Johnson certainly provides a wide variety of clips of impressive artists here.
