Clapton hit the wall years back and just went through the motions…as of late he has been on fire at most of his gigs…he is a dedicated student of the blues and the guitar…he has never been better imo…as for the Stones, well that’s just not compatible if you are a blues fan…they are one in the same

I can appreciate that and I agree about Clapton. Glad to hear he’s got his groove back heh

Like I say with the Stones, just a matter of taste. Janis was really my favorite blues singer… talk about played out! To me, she became her music. Those who have such great talents sort of meld into whatever instrument they use if that makes sense.
