I’m going to chime in too… but it appears that the Msboxer is a lier, or is in command of horrible reading comprehension skills. I read that article and it has speaks nothing to any allegations that the sheriff made any mention of his mothers position, working for the country.

I’ve seen that allegation, but it appears to have started as a tweet or comment, or something like that on a blog and I have of been able to find confirmation of that from a reliable source.

Msboxer is taking one statement in the Mail article and connecting it to some rumor that has no credible source as of now.

Major fail.

The allegation seems to appear on the blog she posted. James Kelley, the guy writing it, writes for the Arizona News-Telegraph. He cites no sources, and I’m dubious. If he’s published this with sources elsewhere I’d be interested to learn more.

Still not seeing how this would have been the sheriff’s department’s beat, or the sheriff’s fault.
