I’ll make it short. Snooki is an idiot. The Jersey Shore is trash. Reality TV is the worst thing that ever happened on television and as usual Americans had to follow suit by once again trying to emulate these pathetic creatures. And in the case of Jersey Shore, I typically did my best to avoid that particular braindead sub-culture when I lived in Ocean County.

The thing is, it’s not like the producers found the most ridiculous people they could find in that region. They picked a fairly representative sample. I know this might seem like it couldn’t possibly be true if you have never been there, but it really, really is. There is an army of douchebags populating that area. Hell, even the locals who haven’t yet had their brains poisoned by spray-on-tanner and hair gel hate these people.
