I just learned that a friend of mine who is very sick (near death) just got his donor organs (heart and lungs) that he had been awaiting, with a pager on, for more than a year. He is recovering from the surgery right now. It took most of the day today. I am so hoping he makes it.

That is the greatest news! I remember when you were about to go see him, thinking it could possibly be the last time.

Sorry I have just mostly been lurking here. I’m tired and still have the flu.
