I’m also going to note here (and I’d ask RWC to back me up) that California already has a very strict “assault weapons” ban and a hi-cap magazine ban. So if this asshole had either of those things he’d already broken the law before he entered LAX.

That said, we really do need to wait and see what type of gun this was and how he got it before we draw conclusions.
