We RARELY use credit cards. Mostly for my flights or hotel reservations (when checking out of the hotel we pay either cash or cancel the charge and debit it)

For a long time now, I’ve preferred credit cards to debit cards because if the credit card gets compromised, there’s a charge on your statement that you can dispute with the CC issuer.

If a debit card get compromised, there might be a big hole in your bank account that you need to get reimbursed for.
