I noticed that last night too. It’s smart of Hillary to use her TV ad time this way, but to be fair she has the luxury of doing so because she has Elizabeth Warren and others working as brutally effective attack dogs. So Clinton can occupy the high ground while her surrogates simultaneously deliver Trump a non-stop series of nut-uppercuts.

Isn’t that how it’s always been? POTUS candidates remain above the fray and VPs go in for the kill.
