As far as twitter is concerned, they *are* in the light. You are not going to make more or less of them to “come out in the light”. Moreover, it’s not the purpose of this astroturf campaign, the purpose is to take back Pepe, and if you click on the tag and scroll for a couple of pages, you’ll see that it is failing miserably.

Perhaps this particular effort is failing. Does that mean it should never have been tried?

Off-topic: My wife went to Scottsbluff today alone. She has been on a kick making polka dot dresses lately.

She notes three different men tried to pick her up, and a woman “felt her up” saying she was attracted to polka dots. Waaa?
