Wow,
60 million years ago in South America,
atmospheric CO2 concentration at this time was about 2000 parts per million.

No wonder only giant snakes and poikilotherms existed.
Sweltering heat, steam room humidity, and lots of tropical plantlife.

But where were the SUVs?! /
