I think there must be a recurring cycle that exists among email forwards. Earlier today I saw a friend post something about Obama’s being chair of the UN Security Council being unconstitutional. At first I thought it was a new thing. But then I realized it was an old story being recycled. Those with an undying need to believe the unbelievable will accept anything brought their way that confirms their preconceived notions. It’s the way of the world. It sucks. That’s why we need to shine light into that batshit darkness.

Like sending the email back to the sender with a link to Snopes and a short note saying: “Don’t send me this shit.”?
