Reine, I didn’t mean it in a patronizing way. I meant I feel badly for you for the emotional pain that you must feel, because of the abortions that are performed. I oppose the death penalty, and I feel a little sick inside when I consider that my government executes people— it’s partially me doing that, my country, my responsibility.

I am not trying to patronize, just to empathize. I apologize if it was clumsy of me.
