Nope, it’s not unusual. It’s just the past 5, or so, winters have been below average snowfall wise.

Climate this or climate that aside, this winter, nor winters for the last 30 years are any good indicators of climate change. I have looked over chart after chart on snowfall averages up and down the east coast, and you would be surprised how much snow there has been, and how close other years come to this year, and in some cases, exceeding total snowfall.
