I’m pretty sure it was the Nader voters that led to Bush winning in 2000. Of course people are free to vote for whomever they please. But it’s not rational policy when on considers the alternatives or consequences if one purports to be liberal by any stretch of the imagination. Just like in 2000 if every one of these alleged purists goes out and votes for Nader or Ron Paul that may very well lead to a Republican victory in a close election.

I don’t know about that. Gore couldn’t win TN. IIRC, he had won his home state that would have been enough.
