Many people who call Obama a narcissist, or arrogant, or use similar adjectives are really calling him ‘uppity’.

It really shouldn’t be news to any reader of this blog that there is a great deal of latent racism bubbling up now— look at some of the signs carried at tea parties, look at the emails and even ads featuring Obama as a witch doctor or monkey images.
