Okay so the only sensible argument is price. So why is the military selling them way too cheaply?

1) You will kindly note I did not say that. However, it is an entirely sufficient argument.
2) It’s not worth the time and bureaucratic headache to determine how much they are worth, between this newish one here and that dinged up one over there, the military doesn’t want the damned things anyway, people cost money, and they just want the fucking things gone. I’m half surprised they aren’t selling them for a cent apiece.
