I don’t think it rises to the level of Rathergate, but it certainly doesn’t help their credibility.

Lee. No this is actually WORSE. CBS News, after intially denying it (because they couldn’t believe some unwashed masses like us could actually be right and actually upstage Dan Rather’s ‘Journalistic Knights”) did the right thing and retracted the piece and apologized ON AIR, however uncontrite Dan Rather was.

CNN HOWEVER KNOWS THEY’VE BEEN CAUGHT RED-HANDED IN A LIE AND ARE TRYING TO COVER IT UP.

If this tape was subpoenaed evidence and they were caught doctoring it before handing it in to a judge, they’d be arrested for obstruction of justice.

The coverup is worse than the crime, always.
