What happened in Gaza was not a truly democratically run election. It has as much validity as one run in The People’s Republic of China, Cuba, or any other dictatorship.

I do not doubt that.

What I call exception too, however, is the USA standing against elections. I think we need to promote fair and free elections. Eventually, they will get it right. Until then, they will keep being punished when they act foolishly.
