I liked palying chess. I was actually a master player once upon a time. Now, I look at a chess board and I can’t imagine what move to make. One big misconception about chess: Many people believe that it’s a game that forces you to think a few moves ahead. But your opponent doesn’t always do what you expect him to. I found that chess, at least at a high level, is all about improvisation and endurance. I have never been as physically exhausted as when I would try to stand up after a good game of chess.
