Slackers. The governor of Utah signed a resolution last year saying that Utah had a public health crisis and porn was the cause.

This angers me because there really is a public health crisis in Utah, and it’s around the rate of youth suicides which has nearly tripled in the last decade.

But no, the legislature has moved on to thinking of ways how people “affected by pornography” can sue the producers of porn and not dealing with Utah’s high suicide rate, because, well, dealing with it involves discussing all causes, including the fact that the largest religion in the state has made it clear that it doesn’t want LGBTQ people OR their children as members, or even blessed in church.
