I’m short, progress is socialism to them. It’s easy for me to see why Taft a product of a family that made its wealth was threatened by the New Deal and Fair Deal which helped more families enter the Middle Class.

yes. it also mostly means (to them) why be part of a system that ‘buys’ things for other people that i dont want or need

or another way, why i gotta spend my money for things im never gonna use

they won’t look hard enough to see or admit that everyone does better when, in fact, everyone is doing better
