I am not in favor of a Palestinian state in any part of Judea, Samaria or Galilee and certainly not in Jerusalem. But I do have some questions about the argument that a Pali state would increase terrorism.

Given that Fatah and Hamas do nothing constructive in building a functional civil society in their respective parts of the proposed Palestinian state, what would be the difference if a Palestinian state was created?

Exactly how would the existence of a Palestinian state increase the level of terrorism the various Palestinian factions now engage in?

Since it is clear from the statements of numerous Palestinian leaders that a “2 State Solution” is merely a stepping stone to the destruction of Israel & a single Palestinian state, would the UN, EU and US grow disenchanted with a new Palestinian state that continues to engage in terrorism against Israel?

You gotta be joking! They haven’t become disenchanted when Arafish did nothing to stop the 2nd Intifada, they aren’t disenchanted with Hamastan now, why would they change?

A change would only come if UN, EU, US politicians start to understand that the rethoric they think they hear is incompatible with what the Palesitians really want to achieve, not before.

And much as it pains me to say this - fat chance for that with the lot we’ve got at the moment!
