It’s a psychosis of some kind. An unnatural attachment coupled with an over inflated sense of entitlement, I think.

Many are closer to neurosis, border line personalities, sociopathic, that sort of thing, and sure, a good deal of paranoia.

We also see a sort of infantile regression, they are on best behaviour, sometimes for years on this forum, making friends, winning approval and such, and then they reveal their true uncouth nature, the beast within.
