Yeah it was the ‘home’ part that really struck me as different and creepy. The emphasis on the camera system in that show is huge. In the NY shows security camera footage is used but it plays a more supplementary role and isn’t depended on like by the UK police in it.

I know they are both fictional accounts but after seeing a few episodes I looked into the reality and yep it seems to be pretty true to what actually goes on.

Even worse, the cameras have become a crutch for the UK police. Soon they may not be able to solve crimes with out them.
