Wondering what the lizard world’s views are on the following:

Was the Israeli foreign ministry incompetent for taking 2 1/2 weeks to come out with this video, or brilliant for waiting until the noise died down a bit and questions began to be asked?

Actually I think that this is emblematic of Israel’s PR problem. What the 24 hour media value above all else is who breaks the story first, and often in the most sensationalist manner. Just like any other democratic state, Israel is meticulous in its official press statements, unlike Hamas e.t.c, who are willing to haphazardly fire off absurdly exaggerated claims, as they know that the “truthiness” of these claims is what will stay in people’s minds, regardless of how untrue they subsequently turn out to be. Unfortunately a lie can travel around the world before the truth has it’s boots on.
