Was talking to a friend of mine tonight who called me to wish me “Happy Holidays”. We spoke for a bit, before both admitting that the past year has been “challenging” (to say the least).

We both, agreed, that our challenges pale in comparison to others that we know. And we should be grateful (to say the least).

Help is available for those who really need it, and those who really need it make me feel that the system is necessary.
