Interesting to note who the prosecutor of that case was too - Preet Bharara, who has been busy indicting or charging NYS politicians of all political stripes, including Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver (a Democrat). So it’s not like Dinesh was targeted because he was conservative or helping a GOPer like Wendy Long. Rather, he was targeted for breaking the law.
