The standard response is “Do you really trust Iran to keep its word?”

Leaving aside the whole inspections thing, think what this really says: You can’t trust Iran, so there is no deal you could make that would be acceptable, which means that there’s no holding out for a better deal. No level of sanctions could get a better deal, because ANY deal is unacceptable. So, if not deal is acceptable and Iran with nukes is not acceptable, that leaves…?
