How many more of these “short term” deals are we going to have to put up with?

This is getting to a ridiculous level. Do you know what would happen to most people if they handled things like this? They’d get fired. Easily.

Do you realize how much of a laughingstock the U.S. government is right now?

Yeah, I’m quickly growing tired of this patch-job means of attacking the budget, the “We’ll put it off a few more days/weeks/months.” Do they think it’s fun for the people whose jobs rely upon the budget being passed not knowing if they’re going to have a job come Monday morning?
