Yeah it can be pretty bad. I’m very peculiar if something goes missing too. I have a magnet collection from my travels and one of my favorites was missing and I freaked. This was before I was on meds. I somehow managed to find the magnet I had and even ordered a new one before I discovered the old one and canceled the order. I have weird sentiments to objects even ones I don’t really need. Like I have a bottle opener I ended up with one night that I really don’t need since I have a bottle opener on my keychain but I like having that bottle opener too. I don’t know if it’s OCD or my Asperger’s. I don’t officially have OCD.

It’s interesting how we can know things are irrational, but still cling to them. At least we’re not clinging to irrational right-wing dogma like so many clingers do!
