The person who made the reimbursement request after being told it wasn’t appropriate was fired. I suppose you could make the argument the accountant who approved it should be repremanded or disciplined too. If Steele was fully aware this was going on and approved it (something no one has ponied up evidence on yet) he should be called to account- but there is no evidence he approved anything like this and in fact the staffer was instructed not to do anything like this.

In proportion to the misuse of tax funds on the state and federal level I don’t get the relative outrage over this event. Salacious, amusing, disgusting and tinged with hypocricy for a volunteer in a “family values” organization: sure- but calling for the head of the RNC seems over the top.
