Is it? I remember the blizzard of 1969 when I was a kid in Brooklyn which was about 24 inches. Also had another one up towards Kingston which put down about 3 feet of snow and below zero temperatures. Of course I had to be outside playing with my GI Joe. Front end loader would dump the snow at the corner of our lot which meant snow caves!

Blizzard of ‘96. Had 8 foot snow piles in front of the house from the plows.
