Neither party is going to break up over the Snowden Affair. Yes, there is dissension, but that’s not a lethal thing and it does serve the useful function of prompting debate on privacy vs. security.

I sort of agree with this. The Republicans can always unite over their core values of repealing Obamacare, banning abortion, and being proudly homophobic, at the expense of truly important matters, like the economy.
