Tomorrow night’s forecast is 90% chance of rain changing to snow (first of the season) with a low of 31F. Tuesday is 60% chance of snow with a high of 38F and low that night of 20, and I have a doctor appointment that morning.
Sounds like a great excuse to stop by the grocery to pick up some supplies and have a baking day here.

I have been baking Biscotti lately. About a batch every couple of weeks. They keep well for weeks and are great with your morning coffee.

I use this basic American style Biscotti recipe, (not quite as hard) but I add things like cranberries, almonds, orange zest…whatever you like really.

I also up the flour by one cup and adjust other ingredients and make three “logs” rather than 2.
